Grace went to her first prom! At the age of 6, she and her friends experienced a will-never-forget, simply amazing prom. Grace and her four girlfriends had a hair stylist (aka my sister), makeup artist (aka the neighbor) and a photographer (that’s me!). They had a home cooked delicious dinner with their dads. And on top of all that they got to ride in style with a stretch Hummer limo. Not sure how we’ll top all this when it’s time for high school prom!
Thank you to those that contributed and supported our amazing 25 mile bike ride and Pelotonia last August. Andy and I are excited to tell you that we are not only riding again this year…we’ve increased our ride. Biking 50 miles this year. One goal: END CANCER.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. One of every two American men and one of every three American women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. By supporting Pelotonia, and us, you will help improve lives through innovative research with the ultimate goal of winning the war against cancer. We would love to have your support, as this is truly a unique opportunity to be a part of something special.
Last year, we are able to reach our goal with the help of my amazing photography supporters. I will be using my photography to help raise funds again this year! Please let me know if you’re interested in scheduling a session. Not only will you have pictures that you can cherish for a lifetime, you’ll be contributing to life-saving cancer research.
We hope that you will help us raise funds for this incredible event. Large or small, every donation makes a difference. To donate, visit our rider profiles using the links listed below. These links will allow you to donate online safely and securely. Think of this as a donation not to us, or Pelotonia, but directly to The OSUCCC-James to fund cancer research. Please consider supporting our effort and this great cause.
Thank you for the support!

I’m excited to be able to share my favorite images with you. I have always had a passion for photography, something I’ve always enjoyed. In middle school, I took a photography class at the local tech center…ever since then I realized how much I loved taking pictures. Finally with some of my contest money that I won from my 9-5, I finally bought myself my first DSLR. I spent the last couple of years doing photo shoots here and there for friends and family. Life got hectic and I put photography on the back burner.
Recently, I experienced what no daughter wants to ever go through. My dad passed away unexpectedly. Going through pictures and memories I noticed that there weren’t that many recent pictures of us together. It breaks my heart. Dad and I were the ones always behind the camera. It was always one of us snapping away at family get togethers. It was rare that we were in the picture together. While all my memories of Dad are in my heart, I certainly wish I had more recent photos of us together. You always hear how pictures are priceless, how they capture the memories, how they are worth a thousand words. All phrases that I would say all the time…but now that I realize the true meaning of it. I want to be able to provide you with something that you can cherish forever….sounds so cliche but I mean every word of it.
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check back as there will be new content and posts often!
